Horse
Lovers’ Overnight is
an opportunity
for youth and adults to share fun
“horse
themed” activities.
K - 12th grade
youth enjoy:

old and new friends
- fun active games in
the gym
- hands-on
horse science activities
(No live animals)
- dinner,
late evening snack, & breakfast

Screened
4-H volunteers use a variety of equipment, props, and
methods to involve “horse lovers” in
learning about horses. Woven into the program:
- teamwork,
- communication
and
- positive
social skills.
After breakfast
on Saturday morning, youth have an opportunity to explore
the horse science activities in teams and develop short “show & tell
presentations” about
something they have learned.
Before
check-out at 11:45 on Saturday morning, everyone works
together to return the school to a neat and clean condition.
Parents
are welcome to explore the “horse skill stations” before
dinner on Friday and return early on Saturday to watch
the “Show & Tell Presentations” or
